Woodrow A. “Woody” Everly, age 71, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 5:30 PM in residence. He was born November 18, 1941 in Mishawaka, IN to Donald and Wanda L. (Marker) Everly. He was a lifetime Kosciusko County, IN resident. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962 as a Specialist 4 (E4 Tech). On January 28, 1989 he was united in marriage to Patricia Proffitt. He was owner of Woody Everly and Sons Trucking, Inc. from 1981 to 2005 and PNW Logistics from 1989 to 2012. Woody was a member of the Warsaw Moose, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1126, Warsaw, Rozella Ford Golf Course and American Legion Post #424, Bourbon, IN. Survivors include his wife Patricia Everly of Warsaw, IN; a son David (spouse Leif) Everly of Warsaw, IN; a daughter Tammy (spouse Steve) Adamiec of Claypool, IN; step-daughters Paula (spouse Jeff) Lucas of Huntington, IN and Kim Kuns of Warsaw, IN; a step-son Donald (spouse Tiara) Richardson of Camden, IN; a brother Bill Everly of Warsaw, IN; sisters Sue (spouse Kenneth) Tener of Nappanee, IN, Jody Everly of Eugene, OR and Sherry (spouse Rod) Hess of Plymouth, IN; 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His parents and a step-son Royce Richardson preceded him. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 6:00 PM in V.F.W. Post #1126 1350 W. Center St. Warsaw, IN 46580.
