William L. Snider, 89 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 6:55 am on Monday, May 25, 2015 in Mason and Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. On December 13, 1925, he was born in Connersville, Indiana to Francis and Ruby (Showalter) Snider. He was united in marriage to Lila Smith in 1950 who preceded him death and then he married Julia Gebert in 1965, who also preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Peggy (Breland) Edmonds in 2001, who survives. William served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had worked for various companies in his life, including, Uhl and Snider Milling, Connersville; Olin Corporation/Winchester Rifle as a professional trap and skeet exhibition shooter; Central Soya, Fort Wayne in Mill and Manger Sales and Investors Diversified Services, Evansville as an investment manager. William also was a manager for Steckleys Mill and Hatchery, Orland; Snider Insurance Agency, Warsaw and was the developer of Silver Fox, Warsaw. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Snider, Warsaw; two daughters, Kimberly (and spouse Ronald) Fennell, Wolcottville and Beth (and spouse Patrick) Moran, South Bend; his son, Steve (and spouse Lorie) Snider, Yorktown; his step son, J. Ryan Edmonds, San Francisco, California; his step daughter, Jasmine (and spouse John) Cole, Pensacola, Florida; nineteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Dan Snider and two brothers, James Snider and George Snider. A memorial service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw, Indiana with Pastor Dave Hummel officiating. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions in Williams’s memory may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 East Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580 or to Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, P.O. Box 1906, Warsaw, Indiana 46581.
