William “Joe” Burchett

William Joseph Burchett, better known as Joe, Passed away on November 20, 2021, at his residence. He was born on February 14, 1979, to Barbara (Copley) and William L. Burchett in Warsaw, Indiana. Joe was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School.  He married his high school sweetheart, Shonda (Brown) Burchett on April 22, 2000, in Forest Hills, Kentucky.  They shared 21 years of loving and fulfilling marriage together. He worked at Drudge Screw Products for 20 years, which later became Global Precision Parts.  Joe loved the simple things in life.  He was a wonderful cook, loved fishing, and enjoyed quiet time reading and doing diamond puzzles.  His favorite moments in life were when his family and friends gathered together to enjoy each other’s company and share a meal.  Joe’s greatest joy in life was being a husband and father. Joe  is survived by his wife, Shonda, daughter Madison Burchett, son Wyatt Burchett, all of Warsaw; brother Christopher Burchett of Warsaw, sister Suzanne (Burchett) Bechtold of Wabash, and Mother Barbara of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his father William and sister Katie Jo Burchett. There will be a private service for close family and friends on Sunday November 21, 2021. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
