William F. Hansen “Bill”

William F. Hansen, 73, of Mentone and formerly of Warsaw, died Thursday, June 2, 2022, at home. Bill was born in Wolf Lake, IN on January 26, 1949, the son of (the late) Carl F. and Esther (Knisley) Hansen. Esther died when her children were very young and Carl later married Beverly (Knistle) Hansen, who has also preceded Bill in death. He is survived by his sister, Jean (Robert) Hinchman of Bluffton and his brother, Michael Hansen. Bill is also survived by his niece, Michelle (Wayne) Decker of Auburn; his nephew, Josh Hinchman of Garrett; a great niece, a great-nephew and his caregiver, Karen Leliasie. Cremation was arranged through McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Ct. There are no services scheduled. The family’s preferred memorial is the American Cancer Society, 7910 W.
