Wayne A. Wroe, 66, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Wayne was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 20, 1958 to Alston and Doris (Miller) Wroe. They were raised in the Nazarene Church in Williamston, Michigan. After high school, Wayne worked at the local bowling alley as a pin setter. He also worked as a gas station attendant in Morris, Michigan.
He would make the move to Warsaw in 2007 to be closer to his family. Wayne was funny and always happy-go-lucky. He loved life and always told you to “be good” when you parted ways. He adored his nieces, nephews and great niece. Ever since he could hold a pole, Wayne loved fishing, and could be found doing puzzles and book puzzles.
Wayne is dearly missed by his sister, Karen (Matthew) Loubert of Warsaw and his nieces, nephew and great-nieces and nephews: Julie Loubert and her children James, Dustin and Troyal all of Warsaw, Jennie Loubert and her children Johnathon, Rebecca and Jacob all of Warsaw, and Shane Wroe of Bancroft, MI. He was even blessed with a great-great niece, Emma.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alston and Doris, his brother Richie Wroe, and his nephew Jonny Loubert.
Per his wishes, cremation will take place and the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
