Walter 'Eric' Beard

Walter “Eric” Beard, age 62, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at 12:54 AM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born March 2, 1951 in Fort Wayne, IN to Paul and Joan (Benefice) Beard. On November 6, 1981 he was united in marriage to Janice Kelly in South Whitley, IN. He was a Warsaw, IN resident since 1981 and an employee of Kralis Brothers Foods, INC of Mentone, IN as maintenance technician. In addition, he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. His wife Janice Beard of Warsaw, sons Paul Wahlig of Rochester, IN and Michael Wahlig of Warsaw, IN, a brother Patrick Beard; a sister Linda Minch and grandchildren Kody, Logan and Jacob Wahlig survive him. A brother Monty and a sister Darlene preceded him. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 12:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Calling hours are from 10:00 AM to 12 PM. Bishop Jeffery Walters of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints will officiate the services. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, IN.
