Volentine 'Tiny' William Grim, 93, of Warsaw, Indiana formerly of Atwood, Indiana, died on 10/11/2010 at 1:44 am at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on March 17, 1917 in Ossian, Indiana. Volentine was the son of Lacy and Rebecca (Gibson) Grim. He lived in the Columbia City area until moving to Atwood after marriage. He married V. Maxine Bradbury on April 4, 1942 in Claypool, Indiana. She preceded him in death on February 4, 2002.Volentine worked in farming and at Endicott Church Furniture, Hammersly and Reese Security and Arnolt Corporation as a machinist for 28 years.He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II as a Corporal Airplane Instrument Mechanic in the European Theatre with the 394th Bomb Group.Volentine is survived by Daughter; Cynthia (and spouse Jeffrey) Shelton, WarsawStep-Daughter; Shirley Priser, Warsaw5 Grandchildren; Kent Coldren, Jeffrey Shelton Jr., James Priser all of Warsaw, Jack Priser of Bourbon and Lesa Thomas of Fort Wayne.11 Great Grandchildren: Brandon Coldren; Hanah Ricketts; Sara Priser Larocque; Matthew, Keith, Kari and Stacy Priser; Michelle Stephenson; Aaron Prater; Ian Priser and Jennifer Priser and4 Great-Great Grandchildren.He was also preceded in death 4 Brothers; Warner, Edwin, Francis and William Grim. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bryan Koorey officiating.. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana with military honors.. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
