Virginia Zuck

Virginia Zuck, age 101, of Winona Lake, IN passed away May 22, 2012 at 4:20 PM in Grace Village Health Care Winona Lake, IN. She was born December 5, 1910 in Rockford, IL to James M. and Erna (Reichstein) Wise. Formerly of Rockford, IL she relocated with her family to Winona Lake, IN in 1945 and later to Grace Village in Winona Lake. She was a graduate of Rockford High School, attended the University of Illinois, attended Grace College and graduated from Manchester College with a Bachelor’s Degree. She received her Masters Degree in Library Science from Indiana University. On March 14, 1931 she was united in marriage to Raymond F. Zuck in Decatur, IL. Raymond preceded her on December 11, 1973. She was formerly employed by the Warsaw Times Union Newspaper and was long time employee of the Warsaw Community School Corporation serving as an English Teacher and Librarian. She was a 60-year member of the Church of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church of Winona Lake, IN. Virginia is survived by three sons, including Greg (spouse Theresa) Zuck of Estes Park, CO., David Zuck of Escondido, CA. and Richard R. (spouse Carol) Zuck of Seal Beach, CA; a sister-in-law Helen Wise of Rockford, IL.; grandchildren David Zuck of Escondido, CA, Mark (spouse Wendy) Zuck of Boulder CO. and Cathy (spouse Jim Smith) Zuck of Louisville, CO and great-grandchildren Paxton and Vander Zuck of Boulder, CO and Anna and Mikael Smith of Louisville, CO. At, McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN a visitation is scheduled from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and the funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday May 27, 2012. A gathering will be held following the service at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Winona Lake, IN. Pastor Rob Harrison will officiate.
