Virgil Dee Wagner, age 76, passed away at 12:30 pm Saturday May 17th, 2014, in his residence. On March 15, 1938 he was born to Ines Hatfield in Kosciusko County. On November 11, 1976 in Warsaw he married Juanita Hall Sanchez, who survives. He was co-owner of Bouses Barber Shop in the 1960s. In 1995 he retired from DePuy after twenty nine years in the shipping department as a Material Handler. He then opened Dees Barber Shop in Leesburg and enjoyed seeing all his friends in the shop and catching up on all the current news. He was a member of the Warsaw Moose Lodge and Sons of the American Legion Post # 49 both of Warsaw. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, mushroom hunting, and fishing. He was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan. Also surviving are two daughters Shelly (and spouse Scott) Shaw, Walkerton; Sandy (and spouse Rodger) Townsend, Kearny, NE; stepsons Jeffrey Sanchez, Stephen (and spouse Cindy) Sanchez, Chris (and spouse Shanda) Sanchez, grandchildren Phillip (and spouse Staci) Robinson, Indianapolis; Alex Sanchez and Mercedes Sanchez, Warsaw. Virgil was preceded in death by his son Chris Wagner and two brothers Kenny and Keith Wagner. There will be a dinner and celebration of life Saturday May 24th at 12:30pm at the Warsaw Moose Lodge. Burial will be in Garden of Memories, Muncie Thursday May 29th, 2014 at 12:30pm. McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel is entrusted with funeral arrangements.
