Tyler D. Prater

Tyler Prater, 21, of Claypool passed away on December 23, 2018 at 6:45 p.m. in his residence. He was born on February 24, 1997 in Warsaw to Terry D. and April K. (Harrison) Prater. A lifetime Kosciusko County resident he worked for Precision Grinding as a Sharpener. He enjoyed music, was an avid Notre Dame fan, loved video gaming, was known as a leader, also he had a niece and a nephew who were his pride and joy. He is survived by his mother, April Hurd of South Whitley; his father Terry Prater of Claypool; his brother, Braxton Prater of Warsaw; sister, Kaitlin Prater, Warsaw; his grandparents Marcus and Brenda Prater, Claypool and a friend Crystal Thornsberry, Warsaw. He is also survived by his niece, Kinzleigh Howard and a nephew, Karston Prater both of Warsaw He was preceded by his grandmother, Cindy Bolin (June 17, 2018) A visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw. A funeral service will be held immediately following at Noon also at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Ward “Etsie” Allen officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton.
