Todd Allan Watkins

Todd Allan Watkins, 44 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 4:35 pm, Friday, June 15, 2012 in his residence. On December 7, 1967, he was born in Warsaw to Ed Watkins and Diana (Smith) Rhoades and the late Bill Rhoades. He was a lifetime resident of Warsaw, working at Bentler Inc., Goshen for 5 years and then working at Chrysler. He also lived for a time in Tennessee. Todd graduated from Boot Camp in 1988, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1988 – 1994. He was a veteran of Desert Storm. Todd was a member of American Legion Post #253, North Webster, VFW Post #1126 and was very active with Wounded Warriors. He is survived by his son, Eric Watkins, Warsaw; mother, Diana Rhoades, Warsaw; father, Ed Watkins, Manistee, Michigan; two sisters, Michelle Bamburg, Bremen and Stacy Rhoades, Warsaw; two brothers, Jeffrey Rhoades, Columbia City and Chris Rhoades, Warsaw and several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Rhoades; sister, Lisa Rhoades; maternal grandparents, Dale and Mary Alice Smith and paternal grandparents, Joe and Inez Watkins. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Oakwood Cemetery, Legion Circle, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. The family requests memorial contributions are to be made to Todd Watkins Memorial Education Fund, C/o Diana Rhoades.
