Timothy L. Jarrell, 59, passed away after surgery complications on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born on March 27, 1966, Tim was the son of O.C. and Carolyn R. (Caverely) Jarrell. He graduated from Whitko High School with the class of 1985. Tim married Sherry L. Baker and welcomed two boys, Scotty and Ryan. They would divorce but remain great friends through the years until her passing in 2024.
He worked in the boat manufacturing business for over 25 years, most recently for Pyrotek in Columbia City. He would meet Angela Harper in 2009 on his birthday, and she joked that she was his gift that keeps on giving, sharing 17 years of love, laughs and memories.
Tim or better known to others as Timmy or Timmy Tough Nuts, had an infectious smile and a personality that was bigger than life. He was the life of that party and guaranteed to be the first one to kiss you when you walked in. Tim had a zest for life and made a huge impact on not only individuals but the whole community.
He loved his kids more than anything in the world. Everything they are is because of their parents. Tim taught his family to love with an open heart and to be giving. His grandchildren were his world, and they always knew that Grandpa had snacks in his truck for them.
Tim loved riding his Harley, going to Wings Etc. with his friends and getting gizzards from The Post. He was proud of his old cars and hot rods and was a huge Jeff Gordon NASCAR fan. He was hilarious; wearing daisy dukes and cut off shirts aka Timmy shirts, having funny personal ringtones for all his family and friends and giving many nicknames.
He is dearly missed by his sons, Scotty (Denielle) Jarrell and Ryan aka "TJ Jr." (Megan) Jarrell; his longtime companion, Angela Harper; 5 grandchildren: Colton Jarrell, Meliah Jarrell, Gavin Coble, Paisley Jarrell and Parker Jarrell; sisters, Debbie Ramey of Georgia and Debbie Eakright of North Manchester; several cousins that were to him, like siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; his ex-wife Sherry Jarrell; and his sisters, Mary Lou Jarrell and Peggy Metzger.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 4-8 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 12 noon at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating.
