Terry L. Swoverland, 48 of Leesburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 5:40 a.m. in his residence. He was born on July 15, 1964 in Warsaw to Jon and Linda (Hull) Swoverland who survive. He has been a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County.On April 30, 2005 in Indianapolis he married Holly Monroe who survives. Terry was a reserve officer for Kosciusko County Sheriffs Department for 13 years obtaining the rank of lieutenant and a firearms instructor. He was also employed for the US Postal Service as a letter carrier for 29 years. He was a member of Christ Covent Church in Winona Lake. Terry enjoyed hunting, shooting, playing the guitar and the saxophone. Terry is survived by his wife Holly Swoverland of Leesburg; parents Jon and Linda (Hull) Swoverland of Warsaw; a son David John (and spouse Brenda) Swoverland of Huntington, Indiana; 2 daughters Amanda (and spouse Ryan) Woods of Warsaw and Brittany (and spouse Kyle) Wuthrich of Warsaw; grandmother Mary Hull of Winona Lake; Step son Adam Roberts of Leesburg; step daughter Shelby Roberts of Leesburg; 1 sister Katrina (and spouse Ron) Brandenburg of Warsaw. Grandchildren Dayna Kinley, David Smith of Huntington, Hunter and Hannah Swoverland of Columbia City, Aiden, Rieanna and Logan Woods of Warsaw; Nieces and nephews Courtney, Cara and Cameron Brandenburg of Warsaw. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Miriam and Howard Swoverland and Austin Hull. A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mchatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastors Larry McCall and Rod Valentine officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.Burial will be on Monday June 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
