Teresa Anne Rhoades

Teresa A. Rhoades, 61, of Warsaw, died Saturday December 3, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Teresa was born in Warsaw on June 26, 1961, the daughter of (the late) Herbert J. and Rose Lee (Hale) Mann. She graduated from Warsaw High School with the Class of ’79 and went on to earn her degree from Manchester College. Teresa was devoted to Scouting, having served as a Boy Scout Den Leader and Pack Leader and also as Camp Director for Rising Arrow Cub Scout Camp. She earned her Wood Badge certification, an advanced national leadership course available only to Scouting professionals, serving with the “Owl” patrol. Teresa attended First Free Will Baptist Church of Kosciusko Co. and volunteered with the Nation Guard’s Soldier & Family Readiness Center. She had just recently retired from the offices at Zimmer Biomet.

Teresa is survived by Lloyd "Dusty" Rhoades, her husband of 33 years; son, Hunter Rhoades of Warsaw; daughter, Christalina (Josh) White of Wytheville VA; brothers, Charles (Carol) Patrick of North Manchester and James (Carol) Patrick of Lagrange; sister, Virginia (Herbert) Smith of Warsaw and 3 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Teresa was also preceded in death by brothers, Carl Patrick, Earl Patrick and Howard Patrick.

Funeral Services 1:00pm Friday December 9, 2022 at McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Ct. with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating.

Visitation Friday from 11:00am – 1:00pm in the funeral home. Burial in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
