Ted David Eherenman, 60 of Claypool, Indiana passed away at 3:50 am on Monday, October 10, 2016 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.                                                          On December 6, 1955, he was born in Warsaw, Indiana to Rex “Fritz” and Judy (Estep) Eherenman. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County and was a graduate of Warsaw High School, Class of 1974. As a boy, Ted got his confirmation from First United Methodist Church, Warsaw. He received his God and Country Award in Boy Scouts through the church. He was awarded the Order of the Arrow in the Boy Scouts and was also an Eagle Scout. Ted also received the Warsaw Times Union, Paperboy of the Year Award. Ted enjoyed being an artist, craftsman,  history buff, a horseman and was a specialist in Indian lore. Over the years, Ted worked for West End Polishing, Craft Tech and Zimmer, Inc. He then became a self-employed farmer and owned Antique Timber Frame and Lumber Company. Ted is survived by four children, Elaine Marie (and spouse Justin) Western, Columbia City, Noel Ann (and spouse Timothy) Heckaman, Claypool, Dietrich Allen Eherenman, Dallas, Texas and Alpheus Caleb (and spouse Lynae) Eherenman, Warsaw; his mother and step father, Judy and Don McDermit, Warsaw; two sisters, Shawn Ellen (and spouse Duane) Patterson, Warsaw, Melanie Anne (and spouse Jim) Rooney, Leesburg, his brother, Tom Stuart Eherenman, Warsaw and his step brother, Kevin McDermit, Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ruth, Vivian, Cora, Geneva, Iris, Adeline, Forrest, Elise and two grandchildren on the way. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ted was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents, Forrest and Sylvia Eherenman and Marshall and Margaret Estep. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 14, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, Warsaw with Pastor Mark Need and Pastor Mike Settles officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg, Indiana. Visitation hours will be from 3:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, October 13, 2016 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Memorial contributions may be made in Ted’s memory to Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, C/o K21 health Foundation, P.O. Box 1810, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1810.
