Sylvia Winchester-Deeter

Sylvia Winchester Deeter, age 88, formerly of Pierceton, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 9:55 a.m. at Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw.  Born on July 22, 1933, in Imboden, Arkansas, Sylvia was the daughter of Sidney and Madge (Smith) O’Dell. Sylvia enjoyed being a caregiver throughout her lifetime. Sylvia is survived by two daughters, Betty (Dave) Frush of Winona Lake, Becky Walker of Warsaw, two sons, Jim Winchester of Warsaw, and Tim Deeter of Lafayette. In addition, she is survived by her 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by both parents, her first husband James Winchester, her second husband Larry Deeter; and four brothers: Brooks, Bill, Gary, and Randall O’Dell. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday September 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating the service.  McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw have been entrusted with all arrangements for the family.
