Sylvan J. Schwegman, 67, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 11/10/2009 at 12:07 PM at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born on May 10, 1942 in Batesville, Indiana. Sylvan was born to the late Elmer J. and Esther (Meer) Schwegman.He was a resident of Kosciusko County for 40 years. He was a cost Accountant for Dalton Foundry, Owner of NBS Office Supply in Warsaw, Goshen and Wabash, Indiana for 25 years.He was an advisor for Warsaw Junior Achievement Dalton Company for several yearsHe collected stamps, comic books and coins. He was a avid Notre Dame fan, he loved sports and admired J.F.K. Sylvan had quick sense of humor and truly enjoyed family and friends, also “flying with Gwen in the white plane”. He is survived by his brothers Franklin (Judy) Schwegman of New Castle, Indiana; Stephen (Cindi) Schwegman of Highland, Indiana.Sisters Rebecca (Gary) Wainright of St. Simons Island, Georgia; Brenda (Wayne) Sheldon of Culver, Indiana.Nieces Melissa “Missy” (Bill) Eckhoff of Cincinnati, Ohio; Vanessa Schwegman of Bloomington, IndianaNephews Michael Schwegman of San Diego, California; Reeve Wainright and Robert “Bobby” Wainright both Athens Georgia; Zachary Sheldon and Austin Sheldon both of Culver, Indiana.3 Connolly children Mike, Jennifer and Amy. “Warsaw family Includes Linda Francis and Gwen Carter both of Warsaw.He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Betty Copeland.Father Joe Rautenberg will conduct the Funeral Mass. Services will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church- Cambridge City, Indiana on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be 1-5 pm at McHatton - Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on November 14, 2009. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery - Cambridge City, Indiana.
