Susanna Barr

Susanna Barr, 60, of Pierceton, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Susanna was born December 7, 1962 in Lansdale Pennsylvania the daughter of Stephen and Gladys (DenBleyker) Saint. She was united in marriage to Frank Duane Barr II on June 30, 1984 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania who preceded her February 16, 2021.

She home schooled three children in following biblical principles and morals. Susanna was very involved in her church. She loved nature, gardening, taking long walks, crocheting and music ministries.

Susanna will be lovingly remembered by children, Dan (Brittany) Barr, Davao, Philippines, Robert (Sandra) Barr, Columbia City, and Katherine (Barr) and Austin Collins, Fort Wayne; 1 brother Thomas “Tom” (Dawn) Saint of Alabama; and 8 grandchildren. In addition to her husband Frank Barr II she was preceded in passing by both parents.

A visitation will be from 1–3 pm and from 6-8 pm on Monday February 6, 2023 at the Bethel Baptist Church, Pierceton.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday February 7th at the church with a one hour calling prior to the service. Pastor Jim Baughman will be officiating the services.

Interment will be at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
