Susan Allen

Susan Allen, age 72, of Leesburg, Indiana passed away at 3:45 AM, Friday, January 10, 2020. She was born in Coronado, CA November 11, 1947 to Donald M. and Barbara (Baldwin) Wyand. Susan was a Kosciusko County, IN resident since 1969. She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Allen on January 23, 1982 in North Manchester, IN. She was formerly employed as a Flight Attendant for United Airlines and became President of Allen’s Designs when she and Bill opened the jewelry business in downtown Warsaw. She was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority, Tippecanoe Lake Country Club and was an avid tennis and golf player. Furthermore, she was also most passionate about horses. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Bill Allen of Leesburg, children J.B. (Lisa) Van Meter of Carmel, Dawna (Don) McCune of Warsaw and Nicholas (Elizabeth Coe) Allen of New Orleans, LA. In addition, siblings Nancy Stambler and Donald Hedley Wyand,; grandchildren Ben and Claire Van Meter, Sadie Waikel, Kelsey Sheller and three great-grandchildren also survive. Calling hours are scheduled from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday, January 12, 2020 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Her service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM in the Funeral Chapel.
