Sue C. Schaaf

Sue C. Schaaf, age 77, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 6:03 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born February 29, 1936 in Warsaw, IN to Fred and Mary (Schooley) Hoover. Sue was united in marriage to Kenneth Schaaf on November 26, 1954 in Warsaw. She was a lifetime Warsaw resident and was employed by L.M. Berry, Inc. for 10 years. Also, she was a self-employed babysitter for many years and raised many local children who were always considered and counted as part of her family. She was a member of the First Brethren Church of Warsaw for over 58 years. Survivors include her husband Kenneth Schaaf of Warsaw, IN; daughters Shannon (spouse Jeff) Brown of Peru, IN and Marcia (spouse Brent) Hollinger of Warsaw, IN; a son Jeff (spouse Vicki) Schaaf of Mosinee, WI; a brother Terry Hoover of Kokomo, IN; a sister Sherrie (spouse John) Durham of Leesburg, IN; step-mother Agnes Bowman of Peru, IN; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Her brother Wayne Hoover and sister Jean Brown preceded her. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 4:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel on Tuesday. Rev. Howard Immel will officiate the services. A private interment service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
