Steven L. Pickens

Steven L. Pickens, age 61, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 12:35 a.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. Steven was born on August 18, 1958 in Letart Falls, Ohio to Elmer and Mary (Chaney) Pickens. He was united in marriage to Janei Boykin. Steven proudly served his country in the US Army. He was an employee for the RV Industry. During his life he enjoyed playing the guitar and camping. Steven is survived by his wife, Janei Pickens of Nappanee, IN; son, Doug (Heather) Pickens of Leesburg, IN; daughters, Stormi (Dennis) Holdeman of Columbia City, IN, Angela Boykin of Nappanee, IN; siblings, Nancy (Chuck) Anderson of Mason W. VA; Jim (Mary) Pickens of Pomeroy, OH, Bob (Donna) Pickens of Warsaw, IN; and, Roger (Norma) Pickens, Point Pleasant,  WV. in addition, he is survived by twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. A celebration of Steven’s life will be held at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with his care.
