Steven K. Raver

Steven K. Raver, 74 of Silver Lake, Indiana passed away at 10:00 am Saturday, September 6, 2014 in his residence. On September 5, 1940, he was born in Milford, Illinois to Arnold and Rose (Buss) Raver. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1958, serving in Korea and Germany. He moved to Kosciusko County from Prestonsburg, Kentucky, seventeen years ago. He worked as a lineman for RMC for ten years and he was a member of Wabash First Brethren Church. Steven was survived by his wife, Alice Prater, Silver Lake; one son, Steven Prater, Columbia City; one daughter, Christine Blankenship, Silver Lake; six grandchildren, Don (and spouse Lisa) Nelson, Akron, Rhealynn Nelson, Prestonsburg, Heather (and spouse Zackary) Williams, Akron, Anthony Blankenship, Silver Lake, Michael Nelson, Silver Lake, Cheyenne Miller, Silver Lake and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Roy Prater. Services will be at a later date.
