Steven J. Holbrook

The Angels came to carry Steven J. Holbrook, 62 of Warsaw, Indiana to Heaven at 3:45 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2014. He passed away in his residence. On June 28, 1951, he was born in Warsaw, Indiana to Richard and Vera JoAnn (Babcock) Holbrook. He was united in marriage to Barbara Vickers on September 29, 1973 in Warsaw, who survives. Steven was owner and sign painter of Holbrook Signs for eighteen years and then was a truck driver for Cripe Mobile Home Transport. He attended Palestine Bible Church and loved the Chicago Bears. He lived is life for God and his family. He loved his family very much and was a great Husband, Dad and Grandpa. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Holbrook, Warsaw; three daughters, Angela Seiman, Warsaw, Tina (and spouse Brian) Gilstrap, Warsaw and Michelle (and spouse Tracy) Blocher, Warsaw; his son, Joshua (and spouse Heather) Holbrook, Claypool; thirteen grandchildren, Zakk, Tyler, Tiffani, Dustin, Nichole, Kyle, Isaac, Katelynn, Jakob, Brooklyn, Bailey, Deakyn and Brady; two great grandchildren, Serenity and Natalie; his mother, Vera JoAnn Holbrook, Warsaw and his brother, Doug Holbrook, Warsaw. A Celebration of his life will be at 11:00 am Thursday, June 12, 2014 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Rick Stewart officiating. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the funeral chapel.
