Steve P. Paege, 91, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/16/2010 at 4:17 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on September 3, 1918 in South Bend, Indiana. Steve was Warsaw, Indiana resident since 1953 and formerly resided in Bremen, Indiana. In Warsaw on June 20, 1953 he was united in marriage to Mirriam Foster Heagy. Mirriam preceded Steve on March 19, 2008. Steve was a Machine Operator for Kimble Glass of Warsaw where he retired in 1981. He was a member of the Warsaw American Legion Post #49 of Warsaw, Indiana. Steve faithfully served God and Country in the United States Army and was discharged in 1952. Steve, as a Sargent First Class participated in the Battle of the Bulge in World War Two and served in the Korean Conflict. Steve is survived by a sister Anna Kuntz of Bremen, Indiana, his brother and sister-in-law Joan and U.L. Skipper of Osceola, Indiana and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Pastor Wayne Whitaker of Living Hope Ministries of Warsaw, Indiana will officiate the services. Military Honors will be rendered by the American Legion Post #49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1126 both of Warsaw, Indiana. Funeral service will be privately held and not open to the public. Calling hours will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery - Warsaw, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
