Sonny J. Nellans

Sonny Nellans, 66 of Warsaw, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at 3:55 p.m. in VA Ann Arbor Healthcare Systems, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born March 14, 1947 to Dean and Geraldine (Nine) Nellans-Drudge in Warsaw. He graduated from Mentone High School in 1965 and served in the U.S. Army in Augsburg, Germany. He was in the automotive industry for 40 years. He was the owner of Nellans Motors and sold vehicles at Rice Ford Lincoln Inc., in the recent years. He was a member of the Warsaw American Legion Post #49 and ABATE Club. He enjoyed riding his Harley. Sonny also enjoyed his best friend “Magic”. He is survived by a daughter Stacey Nellans-Jones, a fiancé, Tammy Martin, a grandson Jordan Jones and his father Dean Nellans. There will be a Celebration of Sonny’s life on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw Burial will be at a later date.
