Shirley D. Greene

Shirley D. Greene, age 77, of Cumming, Georgia formally of Pierceton, Indiana passed away Tuesday July 2, 2013 at 2:45 p.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on October 7, 1935 to Lester E. and Rheana (English) Wood in Pierceton, Indiana. She retired from Daltons Foundries, Incorporated in 1998 after 32 years of service, she was a core finisher. She was a member of Daltons 25 year club and active in Local 6805 Union. Shirley is survived by her 5 sons Rock Hughes of Warsaw, Frank, Gregory, Micheal and Phillip Hernandez all of Fort Wayne; a daughter Sheila (and spouse Kurt) Alford of Cumming, Georgia; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents a sister, Lestina Howard of Pierceton and a son Terry G. Wood. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel-PIERCETON. Pastor Terry Bradford (First Freewill Baptist Church) will officiate. Visitation will be held 2 hours (11:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M.) prior to the service on Friday, July 5, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel- PIERCETON.
