Sharon M. Carpenter

Sharon M. Carpenter, 79, peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, July 12, 2024.

Born in Niagara Falls, New York on July 15, 1944, Sharon was daughter of Stafford and Mable (Burtwell) Lampman. She graduated from Niagara Falls High School in New York.

She was a devoted mother to three children, and the family would make Warsaw home in 1975. After all the children were out of school, Sharon worked for Dollar Store and retired as a manager.

Sharon was involved with the Eagles for many years. She loved tending to her flowers, loved fast cars and once owned a Chevy Nova and was a dog lover. Being with her family gave her the biggest joys in life.

Sharon is survived by her sons, John (Lisa Scott) Courson of Warsaw and Richard (Terri) Courson of Etna Green; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; special nephews and niece: Cindie, Dwayne and Dennis; and companion, James White.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Laurie Mable Courson; and siblings: Gordon, Fred, Jim and Jean.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10-12 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Memorial services will follow at noon with Rev. Cynthia Kneeppel officiating.

Burial will be at a later date.
