Sharon Dustin, 89 of Warsaw, passed away peacefully at 5:25 am, on Friday January 30, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Warsaw.
Born on October 14, 1936, in Fort Wayne, Sharon was the daughter of Donald Sr. and Jeanette E. (Lapp) Craighead.
Sharon retired from United Telephone Service as a computer Programmer.
She enjoyed playing cards and knitting. She loved to crochet, especially for the Beamen Home, as she made slippers. Most of all Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family.
Sharon was a member of Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw.
Sharon is survived by her children, Rick Piper, Warsaw, David (Lisa) Piper, Leesburg and Lanā (Ricky) Beverly, Warsaw. Sharons siblings are Donald Craighead, Fort Wayne and Barbara Norris, Columbia City. Grandchildren, Shannon Lowe, Joshua (Alecia) Brooks, and Cory (Kaylie)Piper. Great grandchildren, Jordan Lowe, A’dre Facey, Ajaya Facey, Carter Brooks, Naomi Brooks, Xander Brooks, Jaxon Lowe, Ella Piper, Achilles Piper, and Cora Piper.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Donald Dustin, daughter Deb Piper, sisters: Nancy Lent and Jonie Craighead, a grandson: Robert Lowe, and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 1:30 – 3:00 pm, at Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow with Father Joseph Czolgosz officiating.
Interment will follow in Saint Anne’s Episcopal Columbarium , Warsaw.
