Shanna L. Baker , 63 of Silver Lake passed away, Friday December 19, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne. She was born on March 17, 1962, to Jerry and Alberta E. (Pontius) Denny in Warsaw.

A graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Claypool, Indiana on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:30 am.  A Celebration of Shanna's life will be immediately following.  

She went to Claypool elementary, a 1980 Warsaw High School and IVY Tech Business School graduate. She was united in marriage to Tony Baker on April 11, 1999.

Shanna worked for Kmart, United Telephone Service, CD’s Plus and Kimble Glass. Most of all she enjoyed being a housewife and NANA. She loved listening to her music by Bruce Springstein, Chris Stapleton, Jelly Roll and Vince Gill were some of her favorites. Shanna loved being with her grandchildren, animals especially her cats, Kids Activities, Sports, 4-H, Watching Jeopardy with her mom and Court TV.

Shanna will be remembered by her husband Tony Baker daughters, Chelsae Culp and Cassi Baker, son Jacob Baker, brother Shane (Laurie) Denny, aunt, Deanie Allen, Grandchildren, Ella Cooke and Camila Culp, niece Stacy (Denny) (Jason) Joye and Sherise (Denny) Derrick Deardorff. Nephew Shane Denny II, and four great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a baby brother Alan Lynn Denny.

Shanna always was the one that never knew a stranger and had that friendly smile that was irresistible, and had all details covered.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
