Scott Charlton

Scott Charlton, 59, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. Born on March 27, 1962, in Columbia City, Indiana, Scott was the son of Edward and Sue (Albert) Charlton. He was formerly employed with Biomet, ABC Industries, and Fairmont Homes. Scott loved playing and watching basketball, baseball and football.  He was an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox, Bears and NASCAR. He enjoyed coaching Leesburg Little League, Leesburg Elementary basketball and Upward basketball.  He was formerly the President and Peacekeeper of Hoffman Lake Association, a Free Mason and served with the Leesburg Fire Department. Scott will be lovingly remembered by: Sons, Tyler Charlton (Mary Elam) of LaVergne TN, Saber Charlton of Fort Wayne; Grandchildren, Channing and Logan Charlton of LaVergne TN; Mother, Sue Charlton of Leesburg; Brothers, Craig Charlton (Lisa Hay) of Leesburg; Clark (Monica) Charlton of Hendersonville TN; Nieces, Elaina Charlton of Hendersonville TN, Madison Charlton of Warsaw, Nephews, Austin and Graham Charlton of Hendersonville TN, Mason Charlton of Leesburg. He was preceded in death by fiancé, Vonnie Cook, dad, Edward Charlton and grandparents, Herschel and Helen Albert and Willard and Esther Charlton. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 5, 2022 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A memorial service in celebration of his life will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel. Pastor Mike Beezley will be officiating. Interment will be at Leesburg Cemetery at a later date. Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
