Sarah “Wynell” Thompson

Sarah “Wynell” Thompson,  86, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. Born on February 21, 1935, in Cullman, Alabama, Wynell was the daughter of Dewey and Ottie (Walker) Kelsoe. She was united in marriage to Floyd Eugene Thompson on September 26, 1951, who preceded her in passing September 26, 2014. She grew up and graduated from high school in Alabama prior to moving to Indiana. She was formerly employed with K-Mart, retiring in 2000 with over 15 years of service.  Wynell was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed being a homemaker for her children and grandchildren. Wynell is survived by three children, Rick and (Shelia) Thompson, Warsaw. Vickie and (Danny) Adkins, Alabama, Terry and (Deb) Thompson, Chapman Lake; ten grandchildren, Mary, Chris, Matt, Sarah, Joe, John, Jill, Jamie, Jennifer, Andrea and thirteen great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her husband Floyd Thompson. All services are Private at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastor Rod Valentine will officiate the services.
