Sara J. Mozdren, age 80, of Winona Lake, IN passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 9:34 AM in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Ft. Wayne. She was born on February 16, 1938 to Victor and Mary (Nitzschke) Maryanski in Chicago, IL. She was united in marriage to Donald F. Mozdren on May 9, 1959 in Chicago, IL. She moved to Warsaw in 1992 and was formerly of Bolingbrook, IL. She worked as a Bank Teller at Lake City Bank and retired in 2003. She was member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. She also enjoyed being a care giver; especially to her family, which considered her “the best mom in the whole world”. In addition, she enjoyed her puzzles and loved her family dearly. She is survived by her Daughters; Deborah (spouse Terence) Hoffer of Whitestown, IN, Denise (spouse Joe) Reifsteck of Allen, TX, Darlene Burkel (fiancé Roger Rapsavage) of Warsaw, Leona (spouse Robert) Harris of Warsaw, 5 Grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her Husband; Donald F. Mozdren, 1 Brother; Vincent Maryanski, and 1 Sitster; Gertrude Lipka. A Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 12:00 Noon in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be 2 hours prior from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Father Jonathan Norton will officiate the Prayer Service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
