Sandra Sue Rovenstine, 71, of Atwood, Indiana, died on 7/31/2009 at 4:35pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on May 6, 1938 in Mentone, Indiana. Sandra was born to Arthur and Lillian (Hatfield) Witham. She married Al Rovenstine on November 29, 1958 in Warsaw, Indiana.Sandra owned and operated Atwood Cafe from 1973 - 1978. She was Matron of the Kosciusko County Sheriffs Department for 16 years and co-owned the Village Antique and Drapery Shoppe.She was a member of the Indiana Sheriffs Association and Kosciusko County Republican Ladies.Sandra is survived by her Husband; Al Rovenstine, Atwood, Indiana3 Children; Aaron (and spouse Robin) Rovenstine, Atwood, IndianaNanette (and spouse Bill) DeGaetano, Warsaw, IndianaNicole (and spouse Rick) Rutherford, Atwood, Indiana7 Grandchildren; Austin and Caleb RovenstineLorenzo, Dominic and Dante DeGaetanoTrent and Ashleigh Rutherford1 Brother; Rex Witham, Mentone, Indiana1 Sister; Betty Zimpelman, Mentone, IndianaSandra is preceded in death by her Mother, Father, 2 Sisters; Patricia Stutzman and Beverly Johnston and 2 Brothers; Ned Witham and Harry Dean Witham. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 10:00 am with Ronnie Sams officiating.. Calling hours will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm and 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel on Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
