Sandra “Sandy” Ellis

Sandra “Sandy” Ellis, age 62, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at 4:49 PM in her residence. She was born on January 22, 1956 in Ellijay, Georgia to Ted and Sarah (Chastain) Carringer. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County. On April 7, 1984 she was united in marriage to Jim Ellis in Warsaw. During her life, she worked at Little Crow Food as a Quality Control Specialist; she previously worked for the USDA as well. She attended Beaver Dam United Methodist Church. In addition, she was an extremely compassionate person, liked to paint, and loved her family and friends with loyalty. She is survived by her Husband; Jim Ellis of Warsaw, Daughter; Lavonda Davis of Corbin, KY, Brother; Gary Carringer of Knoxville, TN, Grandchildren; Kevin and Brandan Davis of Corbin, KY, Sister-In-Laws; Charlene Johnson of Warsaw, and Jennifer Ellis of Fishers, IN, as well as a Mother-In-Law; Donna Ellis of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Ted and Sarah Carringer, Son; Justin Ellis, and Sisters; Susan and Mellisa Carringer. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Friends and family will speak at the service. Interment will be held at a later date.
