Ryan McLaughlin

Ryan McLaughlin, 29, of Mentone, passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 10, 2026, at his mother’s residence.

Born on December 30, 1996, in Warsaw, he was the son of Ryan and Rebecca (Stambaugh) Mclaughlin. He was a graduate of the Class of 2015 at Tippecanoe Valley High School where he spent his time playing football and baseball for the Vikings.

Ryan enjoyed being outdoors and going fishing, catching many bluegill. His greatest love was spending time with his children Greyson and Opie. He enjoyed working on go-carts and teaching them along the way.

Ryan will be remembered by all who knew him as a loving father, son, grandson, uncle, and cousin.

Ryan is survived by his children Greyson and Opie McLaughlin, the mothers to his children: Ashley New and Deja Fear, his mother Rebecca McLaughlin, father Ryan (Amber) Mclaughlin, brothers: Chase McLaughlin and Gage Monesmith, maternal grandparents: Billy (Jen) Stambaugh, paternal grandparents: Claudia (John) Kline, and Rick McLaughlin.

He was preceded in death by his Aunt Heather Endicott and his best friend Cody Floyd.

A visitation will be held on Thursday April 16, 2026, from 3-7 pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels. Services will follow on Friday April 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Billy Stambaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Akron I.O.O.F. Cemetery, S. 1075 E., Akron Indiana.
