Ruth L. Harris

Ruth L. Harris, age 83, of Warsaw, IN and formerly of Claypool, IN passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11:35 AM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born October 17, 1921 in Pierceton, IN to Frank and Florence (Anderson) Gebert. A lifetime Kosciusko County, IN resident she was retired from Sun Metal, Inc. where she served as an Administrative Assistant. She was a former member of the Moose Auxiliary. Survivors include grandchildren Laura Jones of Batavia, OH and Stephanie Swain of Warsaw, IN and step-grandchildren Carrie Stump of Pierceton, IN and Ty Brown of Tampa, FL. Husbands Harvey “Buck” Metzger, William Calvert and Bernard Harris; daughters Rosalie Metzger and Rebecca Boocher, sons Norman and Stephan Metzger; sisters Velma Leedy and Hazel Sweeny and a brother Delbert Gebert preceded her. Private interment services will be held in Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, IN. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.
