Russell Eugene Haggard

Russell Eugene Haggard, 43 of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 8:35 am Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in his residence.   On November 23, 1972, he was born in Anderson, Indiana to James and Alice (Rice) Haggard. He moved to Pierceton from Anderson in 1996. He was a great father.   Russell is survived by his companion, Christine Shafer, Pierceton; his daughter, Elizabeth Haggard, Pierceton; two brothers, Wayne Haggard, Anderson and James Haggard, Tennessee and his sister, Carolyn Haggard, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Teresa.   Visitation hours will be from 1:00 -3:00 pm Friday, January 8, 2016 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton.   There are no funeral services planned and burial will be at a later date.
