Russell Bailey

Russell Bailey, 73 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 7:25 pm on Friday, January 23, 2015 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. On January 15, 1942, he was born in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Grover and Maudie (Hale) Bailey. He was united in marriage to Sherry Jo Hall in 1970 at Warsaw, Indiana. Living most of his life in Kosciusko County, Indiana, Russell worked as a self-employed auto body repairman. He was a member of God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw. Russell is survived by his son, Russell Anthony “Tony” Bailey, St Mary’s, Ohio; four grandchildren, Austin, Mikila, Sarah and Wyatt; his brother, James Edgar Bailey, Warsaw and his sister, Ruby Stephens, Pierceton. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Lance and Shane Bailey and six brothers, Lawrence, Jack, Lowell, Ralph, Sam “Bo” and Billy Ray Bailey. A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw with Reverend Bob Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in the church.
