Rose R. Valdez, 57 of Claypool, Indiana passed away Thursday March 21, 2019 at 2: 30 p.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on November 10, 1961 to Edelmiro and Alice (Richwalski) Hernandez in Hammond, Indiana She was married on December 28, 1999 to Jose Valdez in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rose was a homemaker who love to cook, enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears, going to the casino’s and also enjoyed Christmas Movies, music or anything to do with the spirt of Christmas all year round. She is survived by her husband Jose Valdez, Claypool, Indiana; sons, Kevin Mitchuson, North Manchester, Indiana and Keith Mitchuson, DeMotte, Indiana; a daughter, Josie Valdez, Claypool, Indiana; her brothers, Eddie and Robert Hernandez; her sisters, Jackie Semon and Debra Abbott. She is preceded by her parents and a brother. Visitation will be on Thursday April 4, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. The service will be presided over by family and friends. There is no interment. The family is requesting that the memorial contributions be made to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted to the family for arrangements.
