Ronnie L. Tharp

Ronnie L. Tharp, age 62, of Goshen, Indiana passed away May 8, 2014 at 11:41 AM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born February 23, 1952 in Goshen, IN to Thomas William and Marie (Tennant) Tharp. A Goshen resident since 2009 he was formerly of Warsaw and North Manchester, IN. He was a 1970 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He was employed by Dexter Axle of Elkhart, IN as an Engineer with 29 years of service. He loved to go for long drives, spending time with his family, children and grandchildren, and looked at the Dexter employees as part of his family. Survivors include a daughter Alicia (spouse Travis Coday of Syracuse, IN; a son Thaddeus Tharp of Warsaw, IN; a sister Sharon (spouse Phil) Byrer of Atwood, IN; brothers Paul (spouse Deb) Tharp, Glen (spouse Peg) Tharp, Jim (spouse Karen) Tharp all of Warsaw and Bob (spouse Elizabeth) Tharp of Etna Green, IN. In addition grandchildren Olivia, Zach, Macie, Carter, Bryce, Brody, Brock, Sophie and Samantha survive. His parents preceded him. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dick Sievers officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Warsaw.
