Ronald Thomas Konkle, 59 of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 12:58 pm Thursday, November 12, 2015 in his residence. On February 29, 1956, he was born in Warsaw, Indiana to Sylvan and Doris (Shafer) Konkle. He was united in marriage to Sandra Collier on September 17, 1993 in Warsaw, who survives. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Ronald served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict from 1973 1975. He worked for Kimble International and then J.B. Pallet as an assembler. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Konkle, Pierceton; three children, Paul Wayne Konkle, Avilla, Richard Cain, Warsaw and Kristi Goss, Salem; his mother, Doris Palmer, Warsaw; six sisters, Laura Deckery, New Bern, North Carolina, Penny Blair, Warsaw, Kim Mitchell, Leesburg, Patty Rice, Warsaw, Vicki Lambert, Warsaw, Elizabeth Konkle, Hudson, Florida and three brothers, Gary Konkle, Warsaw, Wilson Konkle, Hudson, Florida and John Konkle, Hudson, Florida. He was also survived by five grandchildren. A graveside service will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Legion Circle at 10:00 am Saturday, November 21, 2015 with Pastor Bob Jarboe officiating and with military honors by American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126, Warsaw.
