Ronald F. Salisbury

Ronald F. Salisbury, 97, of Warsaw, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana with his loving family by his side.

He was born in London, England on January 24, 1929 to Hubert and Daisy (Parker) Salisbury.

In Gillingham, Kent England, Ron married the love of his life, Mary E. Parsons, on September 3, 1955. They would be blessed with three children and generations more in their 71 years of marriage. He served in the Merchant Marines while living in England.

The couple would come to America in 1968, docking in the New York Harbor. They would settle in Michigan; were he would own and operate Ron’s Foreign Car Service.

Ron is missed dearly by his wife, Mary, of Warsaw; his children: Peter (Nancy) Salisbury, Loretta (Doug) Lighthouser and Melanie Kitchen; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren with the 4th due this December.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his 2 brothers.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place with no formal services.
