Roger L. Dunn, 67 of Warsaw passed away at 8:37PM Saturday, September 24, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at home. He was born on October 6, 1948 in Huntington, West Virginia to James Samuel Dunn and Naomi (Woodyard) Scarberry. He grew up in southern Ohio and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1968 – 1970 then in the U.S. Navy Reserves 1970 – 1974. He graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1979 while working full time at Kimble Glass to support his family. He was a proud member of the following; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1423; VFW Post #1343; American Legion Post #49 and Eagles AERIE #852. Roger married Pamela J. Momeyer in 1969, later going their separate ways but continuing to stay close friends raising their two daughters and two sons. In 1983, Roger met the love of his life, Earl Buck, spending the rest of his life together a wonderful thirty three years. Family was very important to him, spending time with them camping, traveling, trips to zoo and museums. He loved to garden and plant flowers. Roger had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, “Cricket”. Roger was survived by his partner, Earl Buck, Warsaw; four children, Becky (and spouse Rodney) Cash, Lowesville, Virginia, Jodi (and spouse Jamie) Philpot, Warsaw, James (and spouse Nicole) Dunn, Warsaw and Mark (and spouse Christina) Dunn Warsaw; his beloved dog Cricket, Warsaw; three sisters, Kathleen (and spouse Bob) Dunn, Iron River, Michigan, Virginia (and spouse Granville) White, Columbus, Ohio, Katherine (and spouse Ronnie) Peters, Gallipolis, Ohio; two brothers, Brent (and spouse Bridgett) Dunn, Columbus, Ohio, Frank (and spouse Angie) Miller, Chesapeake, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Sheila Miller. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in McHatton – Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be privately held at a later date with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be mad to Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, P.O. Box 1810, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
