Roberta J. Grable

Roberta J. Grable, age 80, of Pierceton, Indiana passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 9:10 AM in her residence. She was born May 13, 1934 in Warsaw, IN to Ora Robert and Ruth Virginia (Sellers) Danner. She was united in marriage to Heber “Bud” Grable, Jr. on November 15, 1975 in Michigan who preceded her on October 15, 2002. She was owner of This Old House Antiques and Roberta’s Antiques of Pierceton. Her memberships include the American Legion Auxiliary, Post #253 and the Golden April Home Economics Club, where she was a founding member. Survivors include a daughter Cindy (spouse Jerry) Kreger of Pierceton, IN; a son Chris Hathaway of Syracuse, IN, a brother Robert L. (spouse Lori) Danner of Pierceton, IN; a sister Janet (spouse John) Stouffer of McCormick, SC; grandchildren Julie (spouse Steve) Poe of Winona Lake, IN; Beth (spouse Jessie) Hite of Warsaw, IN; Shelby Kreger of Haddonfield, NJ and Kelsey Kreger of Ft. Wayne, IN; great-grandchildren Daisie, Makayla and Samantha Poe and Anna Hite. Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 Am Wednesday August 27, 2014 at the Funeral Chapel with Chris Mahan officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
