Robert R. Roatcap

Robert R. Roatcap, 48 of Pierceton, Indiana passed away on Tuesday December 15, 2015 in his residence. He was born on April 15, 1967 to Jack Sr. and Wanda L. (Place) Roatcap in Santa Maria California. He served in the US Navy as a welder and fire fighter on the USS Iowa. He was united in marriage to Connie M. Lewis on March 18, 1989 in Paintsville, Kentucky. Robert loved to read, watch movies, cook, camp, catch fish and hunt deer; he also was a huge Star Trek enthusiast. Robert is survived by his wife Connie Roatcap of Pierceton; his children, Justin (and spouse Amber) Roatcap of Cromwell, Indiana, April (and spouse Bill) Miller of Etna Green, Indiana, Kit (and spouse Elizabeth) Craft of Claypool, Indiana and Shaun (and spouse Holly) Craft of Warsaw, Indiana; his father, Jack Roatcap Sr. of Wichita, Kansas; a brother, Jack Roatcap II of Ligonier, Indiana and a sister Honey (and spouse Brian) Sawyer of Claypool, Indiana; Seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother and one nephew. Visitation will be on Friday December 18, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, Indiana with Military Honors at 2:00 p.m. There will be no service.
