Robert Lynn Strand

Robert Lynn Strand, age 63, of Chapman Lake, Warsaw passed away November 17, 2020 at 8:35 PM in his residence. He was born February 18, 1957 in Pittsburgh, PA to Robert Earl and Emma Lois (Hixson) Strand. Robert was united in marriage to Kelley J. Brubaker in Warsaw on December 21, 2013. He was a graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School. His memberships include American Legion Post #49, Warsaw for 13 years, Elk’s Lodge #802 for 13 years and Local 809 of the United Steel Workers Union for 40 years. Robert was employed by DePuy-Synthes of Warsaw for 40 years as a Machinist. Survivors include his wife Kelley Strand, Warsaw; children Ashley (Cheyne Stouder) Strand, Bourbon; Michelle (Tim) Beezley, Columbia City; Tad (Kenzy) Edwards, Warsaw; Tyler Edwards, Hartsville, TN; his father Robert Earl Strand, Paris, AK; siblings Brian E. Strand, Auburndale, FL and Stuart A. Strand, Miami, FL. In addition, 7 grandchildren survive including Caleb, Haven, Zoe, Bentley, Kameron, Zoei and Hudson. Due to current COVID-19 recommendations, masks are required.  The public is kindly requested to provide their own. Social distancing is strongly encouraged. No food permitted at this time. Calling hours are scheduled from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2020 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Interment services will be private.
