Robert Leroy Bottorff Sr.

Robert LeRoy Bottorff Sr., 65 of Winona Lake passed away at 8:20 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in his residence. On November 7, 1947, he was born in Valparaiso, Indiana to Clyde and Anna Bernice (Ketchum) Bottorff. Robert lived in various towns in Northern Indiana until moving to Winona Lake three years ago. He worked for Dalton Foundry, Warsaw for eight years. Robert loved to hunt and trap in his younger years and he loved fishing, sometimes for several days straight. He also enjoyed playing cards. He is survived by three children, Robert L. (and spouse Michelle) Bottorff Jr., Winona Lake, Ann Marie Bottorff, Mishawaka and Clyde Ben Bottorff, Winona Lake; three grandchildren, Brittany (and spouse Mark) Johnson, Mishawaka, Chris Borton, Mishawaka and Ashlee Becker, West Virginia; two great grandchildren, Keona and Aiden Johnson, Mishawaka; his ex wife, Mary Fisher, Winona Lake. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Joann Davis, Ruby Singleton, April Howard and Barb Arbuckle and his brother, Dave Bottorff. A memorial service will be at 5:00 pm Saturday, July 6, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 - 5:00 pm Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions are to be made to Robert LeRoy Bottorff Sr. Funeral Fund, C/o Robert L. Bottorff Jr.
