Robert C Haywood

November 6, 1957 — January 9, 2023

Robert Calvin Haywood, Bob as his friends knew him, died peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on January 9, 2023. He was 65 years old.

The son of the late Calvin and Bertha (Richardson) Haywood, Bob was born on a small farm outside of Warsaw on November 6, 1957. He had three sisters: Judy Swanson, Rita Conley, and Debbie Adams (deceased). Bob is survived by his wife Brenda (Burkhart) Haywood, Nathan Haywood (son), Krista Adams (daughter), Trisha Haywood (daughter-in-law), Luke Adams (son-in-law), and Henry and Sawyer Haywood (grandsons).

Bob was a graduate of the class of 1976 from Whitko High School and married his wife in the winter of 1978 just after the blizzard. Bob retired early from Zimmer Company in 2017 as a Quality Control Engineer.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, and friend, Bob was known for his uncommonly kind patience, love, sense of adventure, quick wit, ingenuity, faith, focus, and commitment to his family. Bob loved learning, technology, and fast cars. He was a devoted Christian and took peace in death because of his salvation found in Jesus.
