Robert “Bob” Joy Jr.

Robert “Bob” Joy Jr., age 63, of Pierceton, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11:59 AM in Parkview Whitley Hospital. He was born in MacDonald Hospital on July 22, 1955 in Warsaw, Indiana to Robert Sr. and Doris (Rush) Joy. He was a lifelong resident of Pierceton. During his life he worked as a manufacturer at Armstrong Products in Warsaw. Bob enjoyed mud racing and was a member of Northern Indiana Mud Racing Association. He was also an avid wheel horse collector. He is survived by his parents; Robert Sr. and Doris Joy of Pierceton, Brothers; Dennis Joy of Pierceton, Tim (Jessica) Joy of Warsaw, Sister; Martha Joy Smith of Pierceton, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, and 2 great-nephews also survive. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 4-8 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 12:00 noon in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. Pastor David Rush will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
