Robert A. Brilliandt

Robert A. Brilliandt, 86 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 7:40 pm Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born December 6, 1928 in Boston, MA to Edward and Frances (Cohen) Brilliandt. Robert faithfully served his Country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a graduate of North Eastern University of Boston with a B.S. Degree in Business. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Downing Patterson. Barbara preceded him on February 25, 2010. The former Manager of Lincoln Drive In Theater he was Co-Owner of Creative Concrete and Plastercraft and owner of Brilliandt Tax Service both of Warsaw. He was a member of Celebration United Methodist Church of Warsaw where he served as Chairman of the Finance Committee. In addition, he was a member of the Warsaw American Legion Post #49 and the Warsaw Moose Lodge. He is survived by his son, David (and spouse Amy) Brilliandt, Middlebury; three stepsons, David (and spouse Valerie) Patterson, Circle City, Arizona, Jerry (and spouse Kathy) Patterson, Warsaw and Larry (and spouse Linda) Patterson, Scottsdale, Arizona; one stepdaughter, Susan (and spouse Clyde) Martin, Lititz, Pennsylvania and companion Carol Reining of Warsaw, IN. Furthermore, 3 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 19 step-great-grandchildren survive. Services will be conducted Friday, March 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Celebration United Methodist Church of Winona Lake, IN with Pastor Cindy Gackenheimer officiating. Calling hours will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00PM in the Church. Interment services will be private. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.
